A man’s dismembered body was found in a Brooklyn apartment, cops said Tuesday.

Police were called to the home on Nostrand Ave. near Farragut Road in Flatbush around 7:10 p.m. Monday to perform a wellness check. When they arrived, they found an entire body broken up into numerous parts, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at a Tuesday news briefing.

The body parts were found in the refrigerator and freezer of the apartment, he added.

“The refrigerator was taped up,” Kenny said. “They were trying to hole up, I guess, the smell inside.”

No arrests have been made in the horrifying case. The city’s medical examiner has been tasked with determining how the man, whose name was not immediately released, died.

“This is shocking to the whole building,” said a neighbor who identified herself as Monica, 50. “Nobody said they heard anything.”

A woman inside the apartment was taken into custody for several petty larceny warrants. She wasn’t immediately charged in regard to the body.

The gruesome discovery was made three days after a woman’s decomposing corpse was found stuffed in the trash inside a Bronx apartment.

The man who rented the apartment, Deshawn Owens, has not been charged with killing the deceased victim — but was arrested for viciously assaulting another woman, cops said Tuesday.
