Fauci Fever is spreading.

Over the past few weeks, Dr. Anthony Fauci has become the most reliable source for America’s fight against the coronavirus.

But outside of the medical profession, the infectious disease expert is also pop culture icon with his own miniature and exaggerated likenesses.

Milwaukee’s National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum plans to sell a bobblehead to honor the leading and most trusted member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

It is considered the first bobblehead of the Brooklyn native, who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.

“Bobbleheads are the ultimate honor, and we think Dr. Fauci deserves it given what he has done and continues to do for our country and the world in the battle against COVID-19,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said in a statement. “We received a lot of requests for a bobblehead of Dr. Fauci and are excited to be able to use the bobblehead to raise funds for a vital organization that is helping limit the spread of the Coronavirus while making people smile during these unprecedented times.”

Priced for presale at $25 (plus $8 shipping), Fauci’s bobblehead stands on a base bearing his name, wearing a suit and illustrating how the nation needs to “flatten the curve.”

The museum said it will donate $5 from every bobblehead sold to the American Hospital Association in support of the 100 Million Mask Challenge, an online campaign to provide much needed personal protective equipment for health care workers.

The bobblehead joins a growing number of items including donuts, socks and T-shirts using the 79-year-old infectious disease expert’s likeness.

Fauci also has a linguini dish named after him at Peter’s Clam Bar in the Italian community of Island Park, L.I.

On March 21, Austin, Texas-based Illuminidol Candles announced that it designed a prayer candle in his likeness.

And there’s also a Change.org petition to make Fauci People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” this year.
